The Size of Your Success

Dr. David Schwartz, author of the book “The Magic of Thinking Big” said in his book that “The size of your success is limited only by the size of your thinking.” In my opinion, he’s quite right about that.
How big you think defines how big your success will be. If your goal is small, you will also achieve something small. If you keep on focusing on how you can’t rather than how you can, then you probably will not have what you want.

It’s all about belief. If you believe in yourself that you can do whatever you want to do (and  that is thinking big), guess what, you are right. I remember quoting Henry Ford before. He said that “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you are right.”

You can start thinking big by believing in yourself. By believing that you can. He even used a metaphor to explain that our minds are factories of thoughts and two foremen supervise the factory. They are Mr. Triumph and Mr. Defeat.

Basically, you use these foremen whenever you think. If you think that for you it is a bad day, so bad things may happen, you are actually utilizing Mr. Defeat. And Mr. Defeat is really good at doing his job and will further convince you and present thoughts to you why today is a bad day.

On the other hand, if you tell yourself that today is a good day, that you feel very lucky today, you are urging Mr. Triumph to act up. Mr. Triumph will present thoughts and further convince you that it really is a good day and that you are really lucky.

It is best that you use Mr. Triumph most of the time. You can even fire Mr. Defeat if you want and use Mr. Triumph 100 percent of the time. This way you can fuel up your belief, and have bigger goals – which you can achieve by using the Law of Attraction.
